Looking for Kjersten Pedersdatter Birth Record, Need help with translation
Looking for translation on birth #9 on this page. I can't decipher out the names. I am looking for a Kjersten Pedersdatter born 1777-1778. This is the only one I can find that may look like this. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Hi @MicheleChristensenSmith, I'm not sure if your original question was answered. Entry 9 is for a Kirsten who was christened on the 4th Sunday of Easter (Dom. 4 p Pascha) 1778 whose father was Las Sorrenson, so she cannot be a Pedersdatter. This baby will grow up to be a Kirsten Larsdatter. Las is a shortened version of Lars.

@MicheleChristensenSmith Does this family "fit" with the Kjersten that you are seeking? Is your Kjersten from Woel? This doesn't exactly match your birth year criteria.

If this is the Kjersten you are looking for, there is a corresponding family in FS tree. Else is born in Tvilum but the previous children were born in Skannerup, a nearby parish. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KCF8-QFB This would be the 10 May 1778 christening record for candidate Kirsten (record split on pg. 21/22). https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?bsid=169055#169055,28389486 Of course this is a theory because I am lacking information about the Kjersten you are seeking.
