Norwegian Farm Locations
The 1950 properly lists for Norway lists the following farms under Lødingen, Nordland, Norway:
- 86 Sjurvassli
- 87 Sjurvassbotn
- 88 Melkedalen
- 89 Nymo
- 90 Lyngmo
- 91 Statsalmenning
- 92 Kjønnstad
- 93 Fosslund
- 94 Rognstad
These are not listed in the Lødingen Bygdebok and I cannot find a cluster of farms with these names anywhere in the 1910, or 1920 census records for Nordland. I also cannot find them on the Norwegian map I usually use.
Does anyone know where these farms are?

Sjurvassbotn, Sjurvassli, Melkedalen, Lyngmo, Nymo, Fosslund, Kjønnstad and Rognstad are here in Norgeskart. You may have to look around to find them all, but they are all near. I couldn't locate Statsalmenning.

Thank you! This makes me wonder if the 1950 properly list transcription put them under the wrong community. The area they are located in was not part of Lødingen in 1950. I'll have to dig into the history of the area a bit more.
