Tool Bar
I am very much enjoying the added features on the New Person Page. It will just take time to get used to the new features, much like any other new piece of technology or software.
The reason I don't like using the new page is that the title/tool bar at the top slides on and off the screen when you are scrolling. This almost makes me sick and is most unpleasant. I realize that the same thing happens in the previous version, but it is not quite so "in my face" due to the lower part of the tool bar remaining in place or stationary and the color of that part of the bar is grey.
Is there a way to stop this from happening when I am in my own profile? In Windows there is a lock option for the tool bars.
This is the page as it opens:
This shows the sliding tool bar at the top of the page that moves up and down as you scroll the page:
Thank you

Is this a candidate for an option in "My Layout Settings"?

I hadn't really paid any attention to this behavior, but this is the second concern raised this week so I started staring at the header behavior and have the following analysis.
The minimized header actually behaves the same on the old and new pages but there are the following differences:
1) On the old pages the header doesn't always work right. Sometimes it does not scroll down the way it is supposed to. One the new pages, the scrolling always works.
2) The old header is shorter so the movement is less intrusive. The new header is taller so takes longer to scroll into place and is more noticeable.
3) The animation of the old header makes it looks like the top part of the page detaches and comes down just a little (if at all) then freezes in place. The animation of the new header shows a new piece of a page coming down over the existing page. If you are watching closely, you can even see "About Details Sources...." duplicated for an instant. That looks a bit odd.
I know that with the variety of operating systems and browsers that getting items on a web page to line up exactly where you want them to be all the time can be challenging, but would it be possible to skip the animated descent of the minimized header and just have it appear at the instant the tab line of the full page is at the exact spot of the tab line on the minimized header so it looks as if the tab line just detaches and freezes and the person's info replaces the area above it?
I've never tried an animated mockup before and found it challenging, but here is a comparison of the action on the old page, the new page, and some editing that kind of shows what I am suggesting might solve the concerns raised: https://youtu.be/1JMEIXmCLrQ
