John the Elder b: abt 1636; d: 1683 in MA (Boston or Barnstable). Esther b: abt 1641; d: 1730 Mansfield, CT. Married second Samuel Storrs. Searching Esther's maiden name and marriage date to John the Elder Agard. Thought to be from Parish of Scropton, Derbyshire (Agards in America/Frederick Browning Agard). Thank you.

This record has not been attached to his wife, who is named Esther Wood (LV7L-LYK). It is not clear where the name Wood came from.

Given the distance from Derbyshire to London, personally I would rate the chances of the London marriage as no more than 50% at best.

Also the record on Family Tree has a christening in Derby attached. This too is a long way from Scropton.
