Mysterious research note, Ledbury, Herefordshire
Hello,
I'm working on finding marriage record for George Smith (LZYY-3B9) and Joanna (KH58-WPT)
The date "about 1785" has been recorded as well as the place Ledbury Herefordshire, but no source is indicated.
A puzzling bit of info has been left in a note from more than ten years ago. After several tries I haven't been able to make contact with the original contributor who left the note.
I was hoping someone in the research group might be able to recognize and decipher what this note might mean. It shows:
A22290-8 A 33 Corresp. Par. of Ledbury, Herefs., Eng.
Perhaps a film#, or other catalog index? I was just hoping to follow this lead if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jeff Baldwin

This is just an educated guess based solely on the christening of the oldest son in Ledbury in 1786. This was quite a common practice in decades past linked to the Temple practices of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The note is a reference to a batch number from the old International Genealogical Index (IGI).
