Where is Petronella Knutsdotter born 1838 in Sweden?
My 3x great grandma was Petronella Knutsdotter, born on april 5th 1838. She moved to Denmark at some point and got married to Ole Larsen on march 6th 1864. In the Danish census 1880 it is stated that she was born in Ängelholm in Sweden. But I can't seem to find her birth, parents or when she moved to Denmark. Can anyone figure this out?

Petronella is listed with her husband on the 1870 (as Petranilla Larsen) and the 1880 (as Petronilla Knudsen) living in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen County. Both censuses say she was born in Engelholm. In searching the 1840 - 1947 household record database in ArkivDigital, it shows a Petronella Knutsdotter in Wantinge, Barkåkra parish, Kristianstad county. Barkåkra is next to Ängelholms garnison parish. In the Swedish records, her birthday is listed as 16 July 1838. The household record http://www.arkivdigital.se/aid/show/v97798.b93.s91 shows that she moved "from" Denmark on 14 March, 1855 but in checking the Barkåkra moving-out records she is clearly recorded that she moved "to" Denmark on that date. The pastor incorrectly recorded in the "from" column of the household record by mistake. #Sweden #Swedish Immigration to Denmark
