Where does Adamsdotter come from? (Finland Records)
I am tracing Eva Stina Adamsdotter, MCW1-H7V, born 7 nov 1829 in Nakkila. I found communion records in Nakkila, 1840-1846 p 214, showing her with her mother.
FFHA - Image database - Nakkila (sukuhistoria.fi)
She is listed in 1840-1846 p p 214, 1847—1853 on p 143 (listed twice), and 1854-1860 p. 158.

Her birth is here on p 431 (second from top): FFHA - Image database - Nakkila (sukuhistoria.fi)
Here is her marriage (bottom of first column) to Fredrik From. SSHY - Kuvatietokanta - Nakkila (sukuhistoria.fi)
My question: in looking at the birth and other communion books, I do not see a father listed (but I do not read Finnish of course). Who is Adam and where did Adamsdotter come from? She consistently appears with that when she is living away from her mother.

Or else I am wrong and Eva Stina Adamsdotter (b 7 nov 1829) is not the wife of Fredrik From (b 24 nov 1829) found in Nakkila communion book 1854-1860 on p 183 (which is always a possibility).

The Eva Justina on page 143 in your 2nd link above, is not the same Eva Justina on page 214 (your first link).
Since Eva Justina's birth is illegitimate, no father is listed. Until she left home, whe wouldn't have a surname in the records. However, her mother probably knew who Eva Justina's father was, so when she left home, it is possible that she took the patronym Adamsdotter for that reason. Alternatively, she may have simply like the name, Adamsdotter!
I followed Eva Stina/Justina (who marries Fredrik From) through the communion and moving records from Nakkila to Ulvila and back to Nakkila, and I am certain that she is the same person as your Eva Stina/Justina Adamsdotter. I was a little concerned when I read in the marriage record that her name was written Eva Kristina, but am certain, now, that her name is incorrect in the marriage record. I will keep all my windows open for a few days so that if you want to see what I did, I can give you the links.
By the way, you may already have this information, but Eva Stina/Justina has an older sister according to this record in Nakkila communion records (near the bottom): https://digihakemisto.net/item/1261872267/5809691529/221. The sister's name is Carolina Wilhelmina, born 8 July 1822. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a birth record for her. Carolina Wilhelmina shows up (in 1819-1825) listed as a daughter to Justina/Stina Mattsdotter here (4th from the bottom): https://digihakemisto.net/item/1261861743/5809742587/163.

Thank you! Yes, if you could post the links, that would be nice. I think I traced her back but I may have missed some. I saw Carolina but was not entirely sure if she was a sister; doesn't seem like she was with the family long. I got side tracked trying to find Mats Mattson's father and mother and thought I did, but now I am not sure.
