Searching for a converted Latter Day Saint in the Helsingborg Branch around 1854
According to the family search information here https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/The_Church_of_Jesus_Christ_of_Latter-day_Saints_in_Sweden
there should be a "Membership Records available at the FamilySearch Library from 1853 to 1951" for the Helsingborg Branch.
I have an ancestor by the name of Hans Peter/Petter (Benjamin) Lundberg, who according to his own words in a Swedish "husförhör" [In Raus just south of Helsingborg] openly had become mormon the 9th of September 1854 - which must also include his wife Cecilia Andersdotter he had married in 1845. [They could off course secretly have become mormons (sympathisers?) before that date].
The 2nd of September 1857 the family moves to Denmark [Sundby, on Amager in Copenhagen], but never gets further than that. To my knowledge none of their children ever emigrates to the US.
Could anyone with access to this Helsingborg Branch membership records possible verify that fact and if possible see if there are any Birthdate information for Hans Peter (Benjamin) Lundberg and if possible any mention of his parents.
The problem is that the then current priest informs in his relocation-pass from Landskrona to Helsingborg the 26th of October 1831, that he was forgotten to be inscribed in the Landskrona garrison church book, but the woman (unnamed) who held him at the baptism verified it has taken place - some time in 1816. [The church book miss entries for November-December that year and later Hans Peter (Benjamin) Lundberg himself says December 1816].
So Hans Peter (Benjamin) Lundberg's parents and precise birth date is unknown. Hopefully the membership list can provide some information in that regard.

Thanks Karen for helping me onwards in my search.
I knew the record was only available from the family history library, so I was hoping anyone in Salt Lake could check the record for me, as I have exhausted all other conceivable leads.
I will try to email the archivist and hopefully have good luck here.

You may already have this information, but I believe this Household Examination (Gammeltorp AI:4 1820-1825) record is your Hans Peter Lundberg (last name on the page): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0057261_00075#?c=&m=&s=&cv=74&xywh=369%2C4105%2C1878%2C918.
It lists the family of Zachr Stark (b. 1764 and his wife Christina Hansdotter (b. 1770). It has a daughter, Johanna (b. 1809) and Hans Peter (b. 1817) who is a "dottersson". Obviously, Johanna can not be his mother, but there must be another daughter who is his mother.

The children are sons Hans (9), Peter (6) and Jonas (4) and a daughter Hedvig? (4). I am not sure what the symbols next to Hedvig's and Jonas' names mean. Possibly they died but there may be some other meaning

I think the key to finding his parents lies in the Helsingborgs (Maria) 1803-1804 record, but at this point, I haven't had time to research that further. This family is very difficult to follow because they move so much.

I had Hans Peter Lundbergs entire life from 1831 to his death in Sundby in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1881, but your find in Gammeltorp is new to me, so many thanks from here!
He should be married (Lutheran) in Riseberga in 1845 (notes from Danish census in 1901), but marriages in Riseberga 1845-1846 is also lost (so both his birth & marriage entries are lost which could have given date of birth and parents names).
He moves from Riseberga to Raus in 1849 and from Raus to Sundby, Copenhagen, Denmark in 1857.
I already had the ex-soldier Zacharias Stark in Helsingborg (rote 10) in 1830 and his foster son Hans Peter Benjamin arriving in Helsingborg from Landskrona in 1831.
But your find seems to clearly indicate that Hans Peter Benjamin is the daughter-son of Zacharias Stark and from your find (Husförhör Helsingborg 1803-1804) Zacharias Stark only have 1 daughter listed (Hedvig), but it is complicated that is the symbol could mean she is dead!
Though it seems Zacharias Stark had been married before !

So ex-artillerist Zacharias Stark had a wife Elna Svensdotter in Landskrona 1801 ?!
Could they have had any daughter - for instance named Christina (se below).
This makes this crossed-out entry from Landskrona stadsförsamling extra interesting:

What makes the crossing out extra interesting is that the note from 1831 says he was baptised in the Landskrona GARRISON church in December 1816, so why is this crossed out even if it has a baptismal date of 15. December 1816 listed. Was the information somewhat wrong? Was he to be baptised in the garrison church instead and the priest from the stadsförsamling had "pre-written" the record before baptism?
Strangely Hans Peter Lundberg never had a specific birthdate before pretty late in his life - then suddenly in the Raus husförhör 1855-1860 it is given as 14/12 1816, where it is also stated (Mormon en ligt egon uppgift" - Mormon by his own words)! Couldn't find any information on when Zacharias Stark and family moved into Gammalstorp nor away from there.....[In 1830 he is back in Helsingborg].
It is an odd place to move for a family (quite some distance to the east of Scania) that generally moved between Landskrona and Helsingborg.
Also a mystery of Zacharias Stark and the wife Christina Hansdotter's origin. We are informed in should be from Ry/Ryd i Småland -> must be Almundsryd Församling in Kronobers Län, but can't find neither of them baptised there around 1764 and 1769 respectively.

Småland province consists of Kronoberg, Jönköping and Kalmar Counties. The only one that has anything like Ryd in it, is Rydaholm parish in Jönköping County.
There are a couple of Zackris' born in 1764 there.
The first is Zackris born 25 Jan 1764. His father is Carl and his mother is Lizabet (or Lizbet) Zackrisdotter. They live in Hjortsjö Lunnagård. One of these could be your Zacharias. Stark is almost certainly a military name and he would have gotten that name later when he joined the military.
I haven't followed these families in the household records which is the only sure way to tell if one of them is your Zacharias..
Nor have I looked for Christina Hansdotter.

It looks like we have A) an artillerist Zacharias Stark in Landskrona who must have be married to Elna Svendotter. [I made a reading error - in 1779 he is still "ogift", but if born 1764 must be to young for being enlisted in 1779]

So Zacharias Stark [married to Christina Hansdotter] actually has a daughter Christina 12 years old. It could be the same daughter called "Hedvig. 10 years old" in husförhör 1804-1804
It fits with a Christina Zachariasdotter being mother of a "Peter" in Landskrona in december 1816!
Is Johanna born 1805 the same Johanna (born 1809) in the Gammalstorp husförhör (1820-1825) ??

How did you figure out that the Stark family was in Gammalstorp in 1820-1825?
I have tried to find any registration of his arrival in Gammalstorp, but couldn't find any ...
-> in 1824 he travels on to Vallöv, where we learn that Zacharias Stark and wife are born in "Västra Ryd" [today in Östergötland!] and I figured out they got married in that parish 26. December 1791. At this point he goes by the army-name Zachris "Canon" and was in "Smålands kavalleriregemente" from 1790-1793.
So far I have a "hole" between the "husförhör" in Helsingborg (1805-1807) and the Gammalstorp (1820-1825) and is it especially interesting around 1816, when Hans Peter Benjamin (Lundberg) is born in Landskrona, when/where he is with his grandfather Zacharias Stark.
Also a mystery where Hans Peter Benjamin (Lundberg)'s likely mother Christina Zachariasdotter ends up -> after 1816 I have no clue. I did find her birth: 6. November 1792 i Korsberga.
A possible candidate is in Helsingør [Elsinore] in Denmark 1835 as a servant girl (for no other than Peter Dobell - and he is really interesting!) , but then all traces of her disappears again.
Though this woman it said to be born in "1797 in Ekesjö" I have learned that the father Zacharias Stark was a professional soldier with "Konungens Eget värvade regemente" from 1801-1821 and he said to the authorities that he was from "Eksjö" and made himself around 7 years younger than he was!
Peter Dobell (1772-1852): Irish-American explorer that lived in China (1798-1805) then Manila in the Phillipines as a russian consul. In 1812 he undertook an exploration of Siberia from Kamchatka to Tomsk and wrote a 2-volume book (which is available from Cambridge University Press). He ends up in Elsinore, also being Russian consul!

Was there any "husförhör" on "my heritage" or "arkivdigital" in the period between 1807-1820?
I don't have either, but you can use my heritage search engine (just not see any details), but when you search for "Zacharias Starck" born 1764, there seem to be a husförhör between "1822-1827", that sounds like a place he could have been before Gammalstorp?!

It says he has come in from Qvistofta (Kvistofta) in 1825 and is moving to Helsingborg in 1826 so this must be after he left Gammastorp.

As a last possibility: Perhaps Christina Zachariasdotter was a servant girl for either "statsbetjent Gards" or Corporal Erdman Wredtman/Wretman, since they are witnesses in Landskrona in 1816.
Norm: Could you check whereabouts for these two (my heritage/arkiv digital) - especially around 1816?
Apparently the soldiers of the regiment "officially" were in Landskrona and Wretman & Stark are appearing in communion-protocols of the garrison church of Landskrona; YET they could live in other places. Zacharias Stark appears in some (1803-1804) where we know he was living in Helsingborg!
So Erdman Wretman could basically live anywhere in Skåne I would reckon.

My Heritage didn't give any results for Erdman Wredtman/Wretman. However there are several for E. or J.E. or C.E. Wretman/Wredman/Wrethman. I looked at all of them for the time period you are asking but didn't find Christina Zachariasdotter with any of them.

So no one of these really seems to be the corporal Erdman Wretman, whose wife should be Anna Margrethe and he dies in 1828 according to the Landskrona Garrison church (again as a former professional soldier it doesn't mean with 100% certainty he died in Landskrona).
I'll have to keep searching.

Just an update.
I got a negative response from the Family History Library to look into the "Membership Records 1853 to 1951 for the Helsingborg Branch":
"The policy is no Look-Up Service lookups in Special Collections".
So that is that I guess.....
