No remarks in Communion Book on child moving
Nestor is the son of Jakob Anderson and Maria Johansdotter. I found his birth record and was able to trace him to the Communion Book 1879-1888 for Karvia on page 592. There are no remarks that would show he died or moved away from his family. Any ideas on where I would look next?

Your 1879-1888 Communion Book gives his residence as Mäkelä Torp Luomansuu.
Looking at that residence in the next Communion Book (1889-1898) he is still with his family on page 657.
In the following Communion Book (1899-1908 - page 684) he is again still with his family, but there is a note in the far right column saying he has moved to the "u(ssi) k(kirja) 774 = new book (page) 774" in 1909. Unfortunately, FFHA records end with the 1908 book.
I will be at the Family History Library in Salt Lake next Tuesday and Wednesday, and I will talk to one of the Library staff members who was in Helsinki (a week or so ago) at the National Archives who may be able to help me get to the next Communion Book. I will let you know whether that is successful or not.
In the meantime, I am looking through the birth records for Karvia (which are available in FFHA until April 1911) in case he gets married and has a child in Karvia during that time period. I will let you know by tomorrow how that turns out.
When your FFHA account gets activated you can look at these links:
1889-1898: https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=5048&pnum=465
1899-1908: https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=19420&pnum=500
His name in the 1889-1908 Communion Books is Nestor Jaakonp(oika) which is the Finnish version of his Swedish name, Nestor Jakobsson.
