I am seeing this record as Död death of Ole Olsen August 8th 1849? Please advise.

I also see a Afgb. Departure certificate am I correct. The other dates are a puzzle. It looks like a new number of 21/53. But if he died than why the new number. I have not found him further . He is crossed through meaning he has left that area but having a hard time where he may have gone if it is not saying he died.

There is a note in the remarks column (far right side) which reads "dødsfaldet endnu ei bevist = death still not proven". Under that is a note, which I believe pertains to it: "Sess(ion) 1852" and to the left of that, in another handwriting: "Sess(ion) 1853".
So it would appear that his death was still not confirmed as of 1853. There must have been some question about whether he had actually died on 8 Aug 1849.

Thank you so much that really helps. Does it give any indication of where he might be next. I see a Kobanhavn (not sure what that column stands for) and a number N 217. A Afgs I believe that is a certificate of discharge. Any other info that might help me .

The note mentioning Copenhagen (Kbhaven) is in the column marked "Opholdsted = place of residence". It reads "Kbhaven med A(mt)pas 11/9 (18)46" _____ faderen = Copenhagen with a county pass 11/9 1846 ________ the father". I believe it means he is living in Copenhagen with his father, but I really am not able to make out the word after the date.
A similar note is in the previous military record here (he is #21): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=16481031#17411,775346. But that date is more than 3 years before his supposed death.
There is a really useful list of abbreviations used in the Danish military records here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Denmark_Abbreviations_in_Army_Levying_Rolls. It was useful in figuring out what an "apas" was in the record.
It appears to me that they don't have any idea of where he has gone to. I understand that a lot of men simply disappeared from the military records because they didn't want to fight in a war. The First Schleswig War (1848-1851) was going on at this time, so I suspect that may have Ole left for parts unknown.
Another explanation could be that he was missing in action and no body was found.

Thankyou so much. I too use the Abbreviation page but still I'm struggling with some parts. I truly appreciate your help. I'll give Ole a rest for a bit then and focus on his borthers. There are 3 other brothers also in the military Here is Hans Olsen born 1825 I haved tracked him this far from Kyndby to Kobenhavn but cannot figure out his current record, his residence. The end part under residence looks like Hollŭnd but I can't decipher the place before that, Something gard. And can you also dechiper words in the notes. It gives his Frederiksberg (Abbrev. Frberg) district number 64 and his Lægd# 29 which is correct letting me know this is really him. And J 11388 was also on his last record sending me to this Kobenhavn record.
Also there is a number 14/152 which 14 should mean the new assigned parish by # and his new Lægd number is 152. The notes infront of those numbers I hope you can translate also.
