Hello @LauraleeT1!
Is your daughter-in-law from the city itself, or from a smaller village outside of the city? that will be very important in trying to locate records. There are a few WWI/II databases she might check first...
If any of her grandparents or great grandparents participated in WWII, then https://pamyat-naroda.ru/ is a fantastic site for her to check out!
Or for WWI, check here: https://gwar.mil.ru/ or here https://1914.svrt.ru/.
For the most part, not many Russian records are indexed or easily accessible, so starting with these might be the best place to begin.
Otherwise, it looks like metrical books (records of birth, marriage, and death) are available at the Sverdlovsk Oblast Archives. It appears that they are not online at the moment, but this website at least lets you know which part of the archive they are stored in and provides some links to record inventories: http://metrics.tilda.ws/russia_nya#rec7556800 Probably the best thing to do would be to write to the archive and request a lookup, or if she has any friends or family members still in Yekaterinburg, they might be able to visit the archive for her.

She is from the city itself. She and my son are divorced. I have the names of her parents, grandparents and great grandparents. One of her grandparents was a member of the communist party. I entered this information on my tree on family search last week. She has pictures, but I'm not able to transfer them from the download she got from her brother in law. Marina left the church about 6 years ago. I think her parents may have left the church also. they all joined the church in 1998 and were sealed in the temple in Sweden.
Dmitrii Grigoryevich Gorodilov Male 1926 – 1993 GNGL-M97 is Marina's paternal grandfather.
Her paternal grandmother is
Tamara Veniamynovna Podkorytova, Female, 1930 – 1996, GNG2-YC5
Her maternal grandfather is
Sergey Alekseevich Myshkin, Male. 1918 – 1988, GNG2-7FL
Her maternal grandmother is
Zoya Stepanovna Rassokhina, Female, 19 December 1920 – 1 May 2003, GNG2-H4X
Maybe you can look at the rest of my tree to see the great grandparents. I'm not sure if all of them were born in Yekaterinburg.
Thanks for any help .
