Paying Archive Department in Russia

Hi,

I have been in contact with the Vladimir Archives and they have found records for me but require payment. The payment must be made by someone living in Russia. It is an electronic payment, but because I am located in America, the payment wont work. I had someone in Russia do it for me previously but he cannot help anymore. I will give the person money first via PayPal. I do not know anyone else in Russia or have family there that I know. Can anyone help me or have advice?

Hi, thanks for responding. They told me they do not accept yoo money and that the electronic payment needs to be made by someone geographically located in Russia...

Hello,

at the moment this would be quite complex as it requires a person with both a Russian bank account and also a card registered outside of Russia. Also PayPal as far as I am aware will not allow sending funds to Russian accounts since March. What is the amount in roubles that they are asking for?
