Validate Some Finnish Birthdates
I need to validate some dates from a family tree. Can someone verify them with an official source?
Emma Kaisa Juhontytär (Harjunpää) born 5 jun 1864, Peräseinäjoki, Finland
Iisakki Iisakinpoika Juupaluoma (o.s. Koivula), born 16 may 1864, Peräseinäjoki, Finland
Gabriel Valentin Heikinpoika Ketola, 16 mar 1861, Peraseinäjoki, Finland
The two men are listed as spouses of Emma; she is said to have married Iisakki 3 jul 1887 in Peräseinäjoki. No date for first marriage (Gabriel) found. I am unable to find anything that confirms these dates in official documents other than submitted family trees in Ancestry.com. Couldn't bring up any of them in the Finnish baptisms on Ancestry.com. I tried to access the national archives of Finland but couldn't figure it out.
I am trying to figure out how trustworthy (if at all) the submitted trees are. Thanks for any help!!!

Here is Emma's birth record in Digihakemisto in Peräseinäjoki on 5 June 1864 (left-hand page, last entry): https://digihakemisto.net/item/1285597626/5826212554/41. Her father is Johan (Juho in Finnish) Abrahamsson and her mother is Maria Henriksdotter.
Iisak's birth record is on the same page, third entry. His father is Isak Eriksson and his mother is Hedvig Henriksdotter.
These two records can also be found on the FFHA website here: https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/kirjat/Kirkonkirjat/peraseinajoki/syntyneet_1857-1881_uk59/47.htm.
Gabriel's birth record is here in Digihakemisto but it is mostly illegible (right-hand page, 2nd from bottom): https://digihakemisto.net/item/1285597626/5826212065/23.
Gabriel's birth record is here in FFHA but is not much better: https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/kirjat/Kirkonkirjat/peraseinajoki/syntyneet_1857-1881_uk59/29.htm.
Gabriel's birth record in Family Search is legible: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C39M-DSCW?i=289&cat=33318. His parents are Henrik Gabrielsson Ketola and his mother is Susanna Henriksdotter.
Emma's and Iisak's birth records are here in Family Search. They are good to read here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C39M-DSMS?i=307&cat=33318.
As you can see, there are multiple places to find Finnish records on line. It is helpful to be able to locate them in all the sites. Unfortunately, the National Archives of Finland has recently changed their website, and it is almost impossible to locate the records there now. Family Search Catalog, Digihakemisto and FFHA still work very well.

I forgot about the marriages!
Emma's marriage to Iisakki Isakinpoika is here in Digihakemisto (right-hand page, 2nd entry from the bottom): https://digihakemisto.net/item/1285622814/5826171641/28.
This record is available in the member part of FFHA but is not available publicly.
In Family Search the marriage record is here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C39M-D989?i=482&cat=33318.
Her marriage to Iisakki Isakinp(oika) had to have been her first marriage. She is listed in the marriage record as a "palveluspiika" (servant girl) not as a widow or divorced. In the communion records, she is listed as having an illegitimate daughter, Susanna Kustava Emmantytär who was born 28 March 1885. No father is listed in that birth record. These records are only available in the member portion of FFHA.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Thanks for the link to the webinar as well. I have worked with Swedish records, but the Finnish have me stumped! I am trying to help a sister in our ward who is descended from these folks. Everything has been dead ends, so they will be very excited!
Thanks for the links, especially, which validate the information (and for the information about the child - we are looking at Susanna, born 1885, specifically.
