Help to find Death Record
Per Holmfeld is shown as dying but I can't seem to find the death record so I must conclude I am missing something. Is there something I am missing on the household record that would help me find when he died?

I found him from Centrala Soldatregistret, he died 1814
http://www.ep.liu.se/databases/soldatregister/dbrecord.sv.aspx?id=3746902
For some reason he was off from army for a year and then he went back, because he is listed twice 1795-1808 and 1809-1814
Here he is the second time

Interesting. The links give me an error so I can't see anything. Did he die in a different area then his family was living? Do you see a death date?

Oh can I use ArkivDigitial to find that information. I can go to the family history center tomorrow.

Sorry, I did not check that those links would work. Here is a new link which works but you need to do the search. http://www.ep.liu.se/databases/soldatregister/search.en.aspx
Use parameters:
Birth year: 1776
Parish: östra torsås
For some reason it did not give any results with even correct name, but anyway, death year 1814 is given, not exact date nor death place.

You can use ArkivDigital or Riksarkivet to find more information about him. Here is his listing information from year 1806.
Generalmönsterrullor, Arkiv med löpande volymnumrering, SE/KrA/0023/0/347 (1806), bildid: A0028324_00043
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0028324_00043
He served in Kronobergs regementet, Livkonpaniet, 6th Corporalskapet
Those listings (Generalmönsterrullor) were done after every couple years. He enlisted 1795. In Riksarkivet there are years 1794, 1798, 1802, 1806, 1817 and there is a notation that years 1807, 1809, 1812 and 1815 are in archive. I do not know if they can be found from ArkivDigital, but you can look for them
