Indexing burial plot purchases in an index?
Hej! I'm indexing some death and burial records for Stockholm, and have found several entries that look like someone purchased a burial plot. It's not clear to me that the date given is for death or burial, but maybe rather for the purchase transaction. Here's what it looks like:
What do you think? To index or not to index, that is my question?

That's awesome that you are helping with the indexing project. It does look like the note is referring to the purchase of the plot. The Swedish Historical Dictionary Database (SHDD) shows Lägerstad means place of rest and is the same as Graf (modern spelling Grav) see https://swedishgenealogyguide.com/dictionaries/swedish-historical-dictionary-database-shdd.
People could buy burial plots under the floor of the church until burials in church buildings was banned in 1815. To the question of to index or not, follow the instructions of the project. I would still index the names and dates of the first entry, and let the future user figure out the application. The second entry refers to someone whose grave was opened (meaning used for burial) in 1652.
