The 1861 english census appears to have an error
If you go to L6TT-5F5 to it’s only source the 1861 English Census . the source is linked to LZN2-QH1 James Garner 1828-1894. the problem is that the head of the family is James Garner born 1801? this would appear to be LZN2-QH1 father but the tree says his father is John L6K4-7SW. it’s like this source is the father and his daughter-in-law’s family and LZN2-QH1 is not there?
how do i list the pedigree ?
james born 1801 to LZN2-QH1 to L6TT-5F5? Or
L6K4-7SW to LZN2-QH1 to L6TT-5F5?

I wish I had the time to be able to unravel this for you. At first, I thought the James Garner married to Sarah Panter (shown as aged 60 in the 1861 census transcript) might be the grandfather of James Garner, aged 5, and his siblings. But their mother is found in indexed records as PANTER. I think this is probably a case of the age of James being incorrectly transcribed (or even originally recorded) as 60.
I believe you really need to take care with this family, as I quickly found errors when looking at their records. There are a number of James and John Garner individuals who lived in Bedfordshire in the 19th century and could (and have) become confused, one with another.
For example, an ALICE Garner was attached to LZN2-QH1 in error and SUSAN, born 1863, has a mother’s name CRAWLEY shown in the GRO index. The father of James LZN2-QH1 was possibly the John Garner baptised 28 Dec 1806 at Cranfield, and who appears in Family Tree as KNHT-4LK. Maybe not, but this is just an example of how a number of GARNER individuals born in Bedfordshire during this period can easily be mixed-up.
Take a look at https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?q.surname=garner&q.surname.exact=on&q.birthLikePlace=cranfield%2C%20bedfordshire&q.birthLikePlace.exact=on&q.birthLikeDate.from=1790&q.birthLikeDate.to=1830&count=20&offset=0&m.defaultFacets=on&m.queryRequireDefault=on&m.facetNestCollectionInCategory=on, which shows GARNER christenings (1790-1830) at Cranfield, together with census sources for those born there during this period.
Sorry I haven’t directly answered your question, but it will probably take a few days to confirm the correct relationships in this branch and to detach sources and reattach, as appropriate, where necessary.
