Wanne, on the 19th of January 1883.Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today, whose identity is known, the miner Heinrich Hüttemann, residing in Bickern no. 255 1/3, and reported that Friedrich Freund, miner, 52 years old, Evangelical [Protestant] religion, residing in Bickern, born in Mennighüffen, married with the still-living Wilhelmine, née Stemmermann, son of the deceased couple farmer/settler Carl Heinrich Wilhelm Freund and Anna Maria Louise Charlotte, née Dreckmeier, died at Bickern in his residence on the 17th of January of the year 1883 after midday at 9 o'clock.
Read aloud, approved, and signed: H. Hüttemann.
The Civil Registrar, by proxy: [signature].
Certified to be in agreement with the Main Register,
Wanne, on the 19th of January 1883.

mother's maiden name is not "Dreck" but rather "Dreckmeier"

Thank you for this excellent information. Near the top, the line that begins "wohnhaft zu Bickern" (resident of Bickern" appears to end with "No 225 1/3". What might these numbers mean?
