My comment: The marginal notes are making corrections to the birth record, which I have shown in the above translation in bold. One correction was to add the words "his wife" after the mother's name. The other correction was to change the fact that the birth took place after midday, making the specific time of birth 11:45 pm.

Translation of the second image (on page 47):
Note: The marginal note in the upper left corner on page 47 is closing the civil birth register for the year 1899. The birth record for Karl Friedrich Besier on page 46 was the last birth in Bärstadt for the year 1899. The marginal note on page 47 is stating that there were 46 birth records for the year 1899. The note is dated 3 January 1900 and is signed by the civil registrar.
