Hello, the Family History Centres are closed to the public in Ireland because of COVID at the moment. There are quite a few people here in the community that would give you good advice. Please feel free to ask your question here. Give as much specific information as you can to enable us to help you. This is a free community based group.

I have seen/heard some good positive 'Feedback' from those who have used the service.

But ...
That said ...
.
Please be aware that you, may not; or, maybe, CANNOT, be provided with a actual "Image" of that Record; but, you may be able to get (or, confirm) the information/details/data that you desire.
.
'FamilySearch' may also be able to suggest where you can get a copy of the Record, other than through 'FamilySearch'; but, also at some expense, directly from the Record "Custodian"; or, through an external "Commercial" Website (eg. "Ancestry_com"; "MyHeritage_com"; ETC; Etc; etc ... ).
.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained ...
.
Good Luck.
.
I hope this helps.

I got an update from staff regarding the Virtual Strategy Research appointments. In regards to whether or not they can show images of locked records or not it totally depends on the copyright contract for the records. Each situation is unique.
