My grandfather was adopted as a baby I do believe, and I don't know anything about the birth parents

I was unsuccessful for many years until I did DNA testing. It still took a lot of hard work and several more years to get to my birth father after I recovered from the shock. It doesn't have to take that long if you are open-minded.
On my great grandfather on my mother's line, it was almost 100% DNA results that helped us to find him. The bits and pieces of the smallest clues each of us had weren't enough. But together we were able to find him with clues as small as mine, that a second child was born 5 years later with the middle initial "K". Dead serious.
Check out every stone - don't dismiss any idea, no matter how impossible it might seem.

DNA testing would likely reveal matches to relatives, that could help identify your grandfather's biological family. I would be glad to see if I can help, if you've tested on AncestryDNA. My email is bryajw2@hotmail.com if you would like my free assistance.
