How do I delete/change children that are listed incorrectly? Is there a digital book on how to do t
The FS listing shows my grandfather Andrew Jackson Holt to have three girls that should be one girl and the name is not correct on any of the three. Her name was Al Ena Holt. I have the family bible.

Hi there,
If you know for sure that there is only one daughter, then I would go ahead and merge the three into one daughter and change the name to be the right one when you have finished, or you can go the other way and change the name of one you feel has the best information and then merge the other two and explain in the reason that you have the family bible.
It would be great to take pictures of the pages of the bible that shows this information and create a source as well so others will see where you got the information from. Do you know how to Merge duplicates?
Another thing I like to do is to put a note in the collaborate tab. Do you know where this tab is?

I would be super careful merging these names unless you are certain they are actually the same person and not different women who have been mistakenly thought to be your ancestor’s daughter.
I have sometimes found cousins, who are close in age with similar names, who are mistakenly merged and I’m struggling to unmerge them and straighten out the family lines.

I agree with Denise. Go through all of the "latest changes" first on husband, wife and children to see if merges have created the mistakes and correct mistaken merges if they exist. I have to use two hands to count the Andrew Jackson[s] (insert surname) in my ancestry. I have made this a practice every time I alter a family and it's surprising how many mistakes are made and unfortunately how time consuming it can be to untangle.

ok The links have been wonderful. I needed them to start learning Familysearch. This Andrew Jackson was my grandfather. I knew all seven of his children. I called the daughter in question Al Ena. I have her mother's family bible that spelled her name Al Ena with a space between.
