Hello! I'm looking for the birth certificate of my great-great-grandfather Santo Coniglio who I believe was born between 1880-1881 in Mazzarino Caltanissetta Sicilia, and the marriage certificate with Crocifissa Di Dio Nicosiano. The only information I have is the birth certificate of his first son Alfonso Coniglio who was born in 1904. If you would help me find some information about Santo Coniglio and Crocifissa Di Dio Nicosiano I would appreciate it. Regards

Camila,
here is the parish marriage record of Sante Coniglio and Crocifissa Nicosiano, of 20 Oct 1903 - record nr 103.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6SNG-KS?i=263&cat=1546854
I found also the birth of a Sante Coniglio on 30 Jan 1881, act nr 52

HOWEVER, the parents of the two Sante do not match!
I had a quick look at the 3 years before and after, but didn't find any other Sante Coniglio.
Where did you get the approx birth date od Sante from?

Thank you very much! I had already seen these records but the names of the parents do not match. I found the date from the genealogical tree of my family but I have no more information about Santo only about his children. I attached the image of his first son Alfonso Coniglio who was born in 1904

Camila,
Not much of a reference, unfortunately.
I found another Santo Coniglio, born in Mazzarino in 1873, who is probably one that emigrated to Argentina in 1913, however, again his parents do not match.

It could be that your Sante Coniglio was born in a nearby village and married in Mazzarino because the bride (Crocefissa) was from there.
I think the only way to sort this out is by writing to the Comune di Mazzarino and ask for a "Copia integrale dell' atto di matrimonio".
You need to specify the exact date of the marriage and the names of bride, groom and their parents.
The civil "marriage act" will contain the age of the spouses as well as the village they came from.
You may also ask, in the same request, to get an integral copy also of the "Allegati all' atto di matrimonio" that will include, between other documents, their birth certificates.
This is the address you need to write to: anagrafe@comune.mazzarino.cl.it
Good luck!
Paolo

Yes, I know, but I don't know the names of Crocifissa Di Dio Nicosiano's parents, and I can't find her birth certificate either. Thank you very much for your help, I will continue searching

You actually have the names of Crocefissa, from her marriage act: Gaetano Nicosia and Rosalia Salvaggio

but Crocifissa's last name is Di dio Nicosiano 😕

Just a typo from my side . The last name is definitely Nicosiano.
I believe her first (full) name to be Crocifissa di Dio, sometimes shortened to Crocifissa.
In fact, in the marriage act "di Dio" does not appear, but it shows only in the birth act of Alfonso.
It is true that in Mazzarino "Di Dio" is also a family name.
The only way to make sure is by getting the official papes from the Comune.
