How can I add my surnames to the Surname List (shown on the right under Group Resources?
After decades of research, I have extensive information on BRAUNLICH (or BRAEUNLICH) families in America as well as on the BULLEIGH (or BOULET, BULLEY, BOULAY, BOULETTE, or other variants) in the U.S. and in Quebec, Canada. I would like to include those names in the Surname List so that others who are interested can contact me. Thanks.

Keep in mind just creating a surname group - in and of itself - will not bring a bunch of people to become members of that group. Unless you have many people that you will be inviting to the proposed group - and they accept - if not - you may end up with a surname group that only has 1 or 2 people in it. That is one of the reasons I created this general group - which has resources that could help just about any surname - without creating a separate group for each surname.
I do have you on this list here:
http://yanceyfamilygenealogy.org/ISRR/FS_SURNAMES.HTM
I will also add a full surname group on the ISRR
http://yanceyfamilygenealogy.org/ISRR_surnames.htm
(the one there now is not a full entry)
If you want to proceed with creating a community surname group - thats fine - and your call - but drumming up enough membership in a group to reach a "critical mass" is not an easy thing (unless you already have a large group that are willing to join)
link for new group creation will follow.

Thank you, Dennis. I don't want to create separate groups, and I appreciate you hosting this. Once it is available, I will contact the other researchers that I know about and point them to the list.
Thanks again.
