I would like to find this baby boy. Should be 67 now.
Looking for a boy born 3/31/1953 to Mary Alice Osborne(maiden)in Binghamton NY Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and given for adoption through some catholic charity. Mom still alive and very sad. Still looking for him. She was born in December 1933, and lives in California now. Married a Mr. Porter and she goes by Porter now.

Has she registered with the NYS adoption registry?
https://www.health.ny.gov/vital_records/adoption.htm
That might be a place to start in case the adoptee is searching
Ancestry DNA might be an option also

@Brad Scarola Lynda has offered a good suggestion with registering on the Adoption Register. Hopefully, the adopted son will have listed with the same registry.
A DNA kit is potentially the best way to reach out to other relatives. She may find a match to her son, a grandchild, or other relative. Some times this makes an instant connection. These kits are $60-$100 and I have seen many people make happy connections. Let us know if she has tried this!

When I was looking for my siblings I found all the free adoption registries online & posted their birthdate /birthplace/ birth name any info I had which was limited back then (late 90's)
Remember they may not know their birth surname or even that they were adopted
Some do not find out until after their afoptive parents have passed
Some do not want to search until their adoptive parents have passed for fear of hurting them
that also probably means the bio mother may have passed by the time they decide to search
Good luck in your search
