Can someone translate these records for me? This is about my ancestor who died in WWII somewhere in Russia. I am confused as the date is 1956 when he died in 1915. What is this talking about? Please advise.

We will have to wait for our Czech speaking helpers. I think they might be asleep right now. Hang on.

Have you found his christening yet? We would need his name, birthdate and place he was born?

I checked the Genteam.at gazatteer and it is not in Austria but in Bohemia. The gazatteer is free but you must register and it has a link to the archives in blue when you click on the page icon once you have searched it in the search box. When in the archives you are looking for the parish Hrusovany.

Do you know what the three records I posted say? Thanks for the info. I already had his birth record, but not the maps. Still curious as to what the documents I attached are saying. Maybe a clue as to his final burial place? He was lost somewhere in Russia during the war--per word of mouth.

Thank you so much, Katerina!!! I really appreciate your help. Can you tell me if there is anything of importance in the third note? That is the long one. Does it tell anything about his death or where he is buried?

    Thank you again,

    Drew
