Connected Accounts
When you sign up to use apps that interact with data in FamilySearch Family Tree, a connection is made between the app and Family Tree. It is a good idea to occasionally review those connections. As different programs/apps develop over time you may decide to stop using the app and should end access also. I was very surprised by the number of connections I have allowed and forgotten about.
To review the systems that you have allowed to access your Family Tree data do the following.
- Log into FamilySearch.org
- Click on your user name in the upper right portion of the page
- Select Settings
- Select the tab for "Connected Accounts" in the upper right
- Click the blue "Revoke Access" button for the sites you want to stop from accessing your tree data

I'm not sure what you mean about a tree icon. I don't find one mentioned here. Maybe we could talk on the phone and walk through this together to be sure you find what you need.
