How do you find information on an Italian Nun?
My half-aunt, Aurosia / Eurosia Periotto was born to Domencio Periotto (my grandfather) and Margherita Forlani (my grandfather's first wife) 23 October 1926 in Pordenone, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy and she died 3 December 2015 in Cervia, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Much of this information was discovered through persistence in continually reaching out to people. I cannot verify this information through documents, because I cannot find any.
Her Nun's name was Suor Pia and was part of the Suore di Santa Giovanna Antida. I attempted to reach out to the order as well as the Catholic Church for any information. I was unsuccessful.

First does this order of nuns still exist. IF so did you write to them. Second does this order have any written publications where her obituary might be listed., There should have been a mass card at least that existed does one of the nuns have one she can copy for you. What about getting the Sunday newsletter from the church on the week of her death. their might be something written there about her . You did not state how long ago you wrote for information but from experience it takes somethimes 6 or more months to get an answer.

Yes, the order does exist: Suore di Santa Giovanna Antida. I did write to them, but they did not respond.
I am unaware of any publications. It is something I did not consider and I will look into it.
I did not know that a card would have been printed up. But again, I did reach out and did not receive any response. I will have to see if there is a newsletter.
I forgot when I wrote, but it has been over a year, at least.
Thank you for the ideas!
