Possible reasons why isn't an indexed record found in the original records? Suggestions for a worka
I searched the 1829 marriage records on antenati and did not find the original record to correspond to this index record. Any suggestions for what would explain the gap or where else to look? I've included a screen shot of the indexed information and a link to the antenati index pages if you'd like to get more detail.
Thank you. E

Well, that information comes from a slightly different record than you were looking at. You were looking at Marriages, it actually comes from Memorandum...
However, I can't find the Parte Seconda for this record and you will note that the date indexed is the date on this Parte Primo, not an actual marriage date, so I'm suspicious that they didn't actually marry. This series only seems to go to record Parte Secondo #66, but this marriage is #72 in Parte Primo. And in the Matrimoni (Atti di Solenne Promesse di celbrare il matrimonio) they only go up to #55. You will note that others on this page show the same problem. I don't see any of them showing up in the 1830 marriage records, so it may be a matter of missing records, that their Parte Seconda is simply gone or lost somewhere in the middle of another set of records.
