@Curt Lane I am going to move your conversation over to the FamilySearch Family Tree group. They have some great people in there that will be able to help you. I wish you well!

Thank you! I have many years of research (one is a book) on different family lines that I'm unable to publish.

@Curt Lane
.
Are you referring to "Memories" that you are trying to upload against individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?
.
Or, are you referring to upload a GEDCOM File into the "Genealogies" part of 'FamilySearch'?
.
As far as I am aware, there are File size limitations to both the aforementioned.

The File size of the whole 'Book' WOULD be way too large.
.
You could try "Breaking" the pages of the 'Book' down into smaller Files that are big enough to upload into "Memories"; and, have a number of "Memories" (Pages) for the 'Book'.
.
Just a thought.

ps: there are other options.

I was afraid the system had a very low file size upload requirements. This should be looked into, as I'm sure many people have so many important documents that they can't upload given the file size requirements. There's no way I can tear apart all of my documents to upload - that's just infeasible ...
Thanks for your replies - Curt

'Yes', the "System" (ie. "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch') does, in fact, have a very low File size threshold.
.
And, with good reason ...
.
There are well over 1 Billion individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', can you imagine what would be required if only 50% of those individuals/persons had extensive "Memories".
.
The required "Storage" alone would be massive; and, not to mention how the "System" would be slowed down.
.
I cannot find the reference(s) to various File size requirements; although, I did come across one, that the MAXIMUM File size for an "Audio" File is 15 MB.
.
Unfortunately, I would suggest that the File size threshold is NOT likely to be increased, any time soon.
.
One option would be to "Store" the 'Book' in something like the "Cloud" Storage (or, the like); and, have a reference/link somewhere against the individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' [eg. "Memories"; and/or, "Life Sketch"; and/or, "Other Information"; and/or, "Collaboration" (ie. "Notes" or "Discussions")] to that 'Book' in the "Cloud" Storage (or, the like).
.
Just a thought.
