Anyone want to help me find the parents of Michael M Bradley LZVK-GMM

The 1850 census attached to the person shows a couple the right age to be his parents, that's a start.
Joseph M. Brown (L63R-C5S) and Sally Niles Browning (M2WY-52X)
Do you know their relation to him?
For your placeholder parents, you gave them a birth of "after 1817" reason: "Date and place are estimated from son's birth. Michael was born in 1833. The year 1817 would make his father and mother at least 16. "
but if they were born after 1817 they would be under 16 when Michael is born
I think you meant "before 1817"

@Michael Benzi Thanks for the date tip. No I don't know, nor any family knows their relationship. What would you or anyone recommend?

Hi! I agree with the previous comments, and I would remove "Father" from Bradley, and just leave the surname. The same for the mother, but leave no name. If it makes you keep a name, leave Bradley. But she wasn't born a Bradley. I would also change the birth for the father to about 1800 and the mother to about 1805. Here is why both matter, the FS computers are using specific programs to search, so they will be searching for someone named Father Bradley instead of just males with surname Bradley. I wish people wouldn't put ? either.:) I will see if I can find anything else...

Shelley, the William Seger on the 1850 census with Michael appears to be a nephew of the Sally Browning Brown that is listed with her husband, Joseph Brown. So it is possible that Michael is another relative somehow to this family. Although he could just be a farm worker.:) I have searched in numerous newspapers, and various sites, and have not found anything yet. I did find one profile on Michael in MyHeritage and you could contact that person and see what records they have. They have a different birth date recorded. The URL is: https://www.myheritage.com/person-2004436_456625831_456625831/michael-bradley#
Good luck! Kathy

He is listed as attending this church as an adult, but I couldn't find much. https://www.americanancestors.org/databases/rhode-island-vital-records-1636-1850/image?pageName=265&volumeId=14494

Shelly; Are you making any progress in finding Michael's parents?

It is if you have a membership to MyHeritage. I don't know if I send someone a link if they can see it. If you do not have a MyHeritage membershp, when FH Centers re open, you can access it for free there and contact the person that has him in their tree, it looks like they have information and records.

@KMS Ward I can access the My Heritage. Thank you. I signed up for the free part of American Ancestry but the link to the source of him attending church as an adult says I must have the paid subscription part. Would you be willing to attach a screen shot of it here or on FamilySearch?

If you search on MyH for him, there was one tree with quite a bit of info and you can message them.
I’ll try the screenshot again

It wouldn’t let me add it here. I put it on Michael’s memories page under documents

@KMS Ward Because of your link to the MyHeritage source I have been able to merge 14 people, add 10 sources, add 3 new family members and reserve their ordinances! Thank you very much for taking the time to help me! 😊 Thanks for attaching the other source to FamilySearch.
@Dik Thurston Because you asked if I'd gotten my answers I was reminded of this question I asked and able to complete the above. Thank you very much!😊
I love FamilySearch Community!

@KMS Ward I was reviewing the image you so kindly attached to Michael M Bradley from the above mentioned link. I discovered the church's clerk is Christopher Browning Jr. I'm wanting to know if we could find out a birth date for him?
I just found the name Christopher Browning GWT9-KK3 on an ancestry.com tree. (See source attached to him for ancestry tree.) Christopher Browning GWT9-KK3 is a sibling of the Sally (Browinging) Brown M2WY-52X
on the 1950 Census.

I do not think that is him, because in the church record he lists his name as Christopher Browning, Jr. The above person has a father with a different name. But who knows . I found a Christopher Browning, the son of a Christopher Browning born 20 May 1798 South Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island, USA. He is a possibility too. They could all be related.
