That is pretty cool! Could you add the date and location of the obituary when you upload them? Do you have a plan for these in the future? @Janalynn McClain you might be interested in this.

I have thousands of obituaries. and when I clip them myself I always add date and newspaper. This is just a subset of my collection.
Many of these were found online and were not labeled.
I process them in FS memories just like I do for the Family Bibles we process- tagging them to the correct person or even adding the person record to FS FT.

. . . again wondering how we could get FamilySearch to take the lead on a crowd sourcing project to allow for person tagging of public domain items like this that have been uploaded to FS Memories. there are millions of images like this in the public domain that could be processed.

Yes, this is so valuable, but would be more so if indexed thoroughly. Thank you for sharing! I have bookmarked your site and will no doubt go through it. I have enslaved individuals implied in a handful of wills, census records, etc of ancestors, and I am trying slowly to identify them. It is so difficult.
