I haven't found a silhouette of an ancestor. I would be excited if I found one, especially if I did not have a photo of them. Through DNA, I learned of a new grandparent. I have two newspaper photos of him and they are not clear enough for me to know what he looked like. I would definitley like to see a silhouette of him.

ever wondered if there is an original of the newspaper (and not a microfilm) that would exist of your newspaper grandparent?

That makes me wonder if the local newspapers might have archives of photos. I have checked other Archives in the area. This man was a professional archer. I suspect that if I could find the correct archive, I would be able to find a good photo of him. His positive interactions in society were reported profusely in the local newspapers. He worked with blind and disabled veterans. The backstory is pretty inspiring.
