Looking for birth certificate or baptism certificate in Como, Italy.
Dear friends, first of all let me thank you for the truly AMAZING job you guys have done with FamilySearch. You have no idea how much it has helped me throughout my genealogical research.
I'm looking for the birth certificate of Francesco Luraschi, born in the Province of Como, Italy. I don't know with absolute certainty the date but on his death certificate dated from 1890 it states that he was 37 years old when he died so his birth date should be around 1853. Unluckily there are no pictures available online for that period.
I found however that his parents and siblings were all from a town called Veniano, located in the province of Como. Emailing with the church of that town they told me that the documents should be found at Chiesa di San Antonio Abate in Veniano, Como.
To make it simple I'm looking for the birth certificate of:
Francesco Luraschi, son of Davide Luraschi and Felicita Terzaghi. Probably born around 1853 in Veniano, Como, Lombardy, Italy.
If you check my source box you'll find lots of documents from the marriage of his siblings, death certificates of his parents and so on, all of them in the town of Veniano. I talked to the Archidiocesi of Milano (which is the one that compiles all the files from that little town in Como) but they weren't successful to find the document.
If you can't help me, is there ANY WAY that you guys could give me access to the Register of Births in Italy from that period? There are not available online. Thank you so much.
God bless you all!

Best place to find the birth record of Francesco Luraschi is actually at the Archivio Diocesano di Milano (as you did), but records are kept there by parish, so you need to ask for a specific church.
Did you also check the baptism records at the other church of Veniano, named to San Lorenzo?
On Ancestry you can find many records available for Provincia di Como (1866-1936) .

Francesco's birth would be outside the range, but you may find other records of the family (deaths, marriages) that my help you narrowing down on his birth place.
This is what I would call a "flanking search strategy"...
