Can someone interpret the name of a village on an 1869 Marriage record noting the death of the bride

Can someone interpret the name of a village on an 1869 Marriage record noting the death of the bride's first husband? He died in a Papal State village named something like Vallicorsa on Aug. 7, 1860. It is noted in his wife's second marriage record.

I have been working on for a year. It is a marriage record for a widow, Anna Felice di Marino. It references the death of her first husband, Donato Mario Sciarra, who died in a village in August 1860, that was far from his home town of Fara San Martino, Chieti. Therefore his home village does not have a death record for him. In his wife's second marriage in 1869, there is a recording of his death. He died in a Papal State village in 1860. I can not figure out the name of the Commune in which his death occurred and was recorded. Valliscorsa? The record states the name of the Commune and then "Stato Pontificio". Anyway I don't see anything close to this spelling on a current map and I've tried looking at old maps as well. Because it is a Papal State village, there are no Commune records probably, just church records which I cannot access. The name of the village is on line #8. Here is the link:

Try Vallecorsa. It appears that the Latin form of Vallecorsa is Valliscorsae.
