Is this the "Knowledge Article" you are looking for?
.
Where do I find my helper number?
.
If someone is very new; then, here is a good place to start them, with how things work in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" (and, other programmes as well):

Plus, you can also include (ie. add) them on you "Consultant Planner".

I hope this helps.

This is what I learned by calling Family Search:
in the upper right-hand corner of the main Family Search page > below your name > click on Help Others.
You will need the person's Username and Helper Number.
They can find their Helper Number by going to their name
(in the upper right-hand corner) then to Settings > Account > down the page they will see their Helper Number.

I personally like the PLANNER in the HELPER RESOURCE from the HELP menu in Family Search. Once you have someone in your PLANNER you don't have to ask for their helper number again for a year! If they have their email in the ward directory, you can send an email request and when they respond they automatically show up in your planner or you can add them manually with their helper number. I have worked with several members over the phone using this feature.
