Ste.Scolastique Deux montagnes Quebec. Also i found one document with a Mary Godmare in
place called Pembroke. But i aint sure of this one. I have researched Noah as far back as 1885
with good sucess. But now things have gotten Slooooooooow going pree 1885. I am reaching out and asking for assistance and help in finding my Great Great Grandparents and any Brothers and sister Noah may have had.
Your assistance and help is deeply appreciated. Thank for your time:

@G3990 Have you created profiles for Noah Godmare and his family in the FS tree? If so, what is his profile identifying number? It's much easier for us to help when we can see what you have found. Also, having the profile resident in the tree will give the hinting mechanism the opportunity to help you, by finding likely records.

Hi aine
There is a tree made by me relatives and i have seen it. But this is my personal search for noah godmare. Dont know what his profile is but if you search noah godmare you will see it in the tree made by my relatives.
I do not plan on making a tree on line here. they have done that. I use family search for my personal research. I was just going to update this post when you made a comment because i found 2 more document
on Noah and one is very close to what i am looking for but i need to verify and confirm of course and will still need some assistance in verifing those names in the record. Can you help , This is the link to the document i just found. If you can help me verify if this is his family i do appreciate it. I am still a rookie at this but getting better.

@G3990 The FamilySearch tree is a single tree for all, not individual trees. The ultimate goal is one single profile for every person who has ever lived.

I found a baptism record for Noe Godmer (Noe is the french version of Noah) born 18 feb 1854, baptized 19 february 1854 in Ste. Scholastique (Deux Montagnes), son of Jean Baptiste Godmer and Emelie Proulx. Jean Baptiste and Emelie were married 18 oct 1836 in St. Benoit (Deux Montagnes). They had a large family; I found baptisms for the children, and burials for 2. I see them in the 1861 census in Ste. Scholastique, at the bottom of page 41 and continuing on the top of page 43. Jean Baptiste was a cultivateur (farmer). They are also in the 1881 census for Ste. Scholastique on page 58.
Here is the baptism entry for your ancestor Noe:
Jean Baptiste Godmer's parents are Pierre Godmer and Marie Denis. Emelie Proulx's parents are Thomas Proulx and Josephte Dore.
Children of Jean Baptiste and Emelie (Noe's siblings) are: Domithilde, born 13 Jan 1838; Arthemise, 10 oct 1839, died 26 jan 1840; Jean Baptiste 1 nov 1840; Alexandre 3 aug 1842, died 9 apr 1853; Baldomer Napoleon 6 sep 1844 (baptized at St. Hermas, Deux Montagnes); Olympe born 26 may 1846 (back at Ste. Scholastique); Evariste, born 27 may 1848; Marie Arline 25 feb 1850; Moyse Zozine (called Onesime in 1861 census) 4 feb 1852, Noe** 18 feb 1854; Marie Heloise 20 dec 1855; Marie Cordelia 18 jun 1859. All were baptized in Ste. Scholastique except Napoleon.
Does this help? There is a great deal of information available about your family going back, as well as marriages as some of Noe's siblings.
My sources for this quick check were LaFrance from Drouin Institute for marriage, birth, death info, and ancestry.com for the census records. I didn't look for the 1871 record but it should be there also.

There are many other websites for genealogy research. FamilySearch is excellent for French Canadian research, and it's free, which is a big plus for many researchers. Some others will require a paid subscription, or you can access for free at your local library.
There is already a profile for your ancestors on the FS tree. ProfileJean-Baptiste Godmer and Emilie Proulx were married in 1836. Marriage record
In 1891 Jean-Baptiste Godmer is a widower, still living in Sainte-Scholastique: 1891 census

You're welcome.
If you need help with the French, there are several folks in this Canada Research group who can assist with a translation.
Once you've seen a few of them, you'll start to see the pattern - the same words and phrases used over and over in every record. There is also a French Genealogy Word List in the Wiki.

Hi Aine Ni
Im quite sure i will need some asisstance with the french. Yes i have seen a pattern after reading all the documents. When i first got started in this it was quite overwelming some times because it was the french.
The words were much the same in the church documents. im going to take a look at the french word lit wiki you mention.
That is when i noticed there was alwas a marie charron in some of the godmer documents so i asked about
her and thats when i got the marriage document that i could not locate. I still need to read it or get it translated. I will post in the canada group and see what happens.
Thank you again Aine.
