Unable to add living persons from FamilySearch Tree to a group under under certain conditions
Since the system doesn't allow adding all private-space persons to a tree when creating a group (@Ryan Plumb, that is still needed and it was very painful and time consuming to have to manually find all living persons in my tree), I am forced to navigate to them on the portrait pedigree.
When navigating downward through a descendancy, the navigation gets blocked when you need to navigate downward through a non-default spouse when the ancestor has multiple spouses since there is no UX to handle this situation. I found a workaround by setting the preferred spouse to the one needed for navigation, but that is very painful since it requires leaving the context of selecting persons from the portrait pedigree to go to the person page to switch it.

@Kent Olsen Yes, this is a known issue. We have added the ability to add additional spouses and the children of direct ancestors and those other spouses, but there is no way to add the grandchildren of these marriages, or any step-siblings, except as you noted, by changing the preferred parents. The product team is aware of this issue but still determining how these situations should be dealt with. Keep watch for future updates.
