what a mess
I just tried to look up records by way of the catalog. It's terrible. I'm researching in Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and when I look for Belarus, nothing comes up. Then I look for Russian Empire Belarus and nothing comes up. Huh?
Also, I used to be able to find church records in Latvia by the city, then the name of the church. Now I see church records, marriage records, 1900-1972. You don't know what church you're looking at, what city, what religion. It doesn't make any sense. Bring back the old ways of searching. I'm not finding anything!

@SilvaYoung Thank you for reporting your issues with your search. I did a search on Belarus and it gave me 221 results at this Link. I then did a search on Russian Empire and came up with over 2,000 results at this Link. The search for Latvia gave me 300 results and several church records at this Link.
If you can copy the URL of the search results you are incountering I can narrow down this issues that you are having. I can then escalate the issues to get input on the problems you are having.
