Link member to person on tree
I don't see a way to link a member of the family group to a person on the tree?
I would like to be able to click on the member and then link them to their person on the tree - or do it from the other direction. Thanks

I vote for this idea. Great idea for the Members list.

Agreed. It appears (though it is quite opaque) that the site/system looks to automatically match invited users with people on the tree based on the name they use to sign in, which, in my case, did not match because of maiden name/married name issues. I looked everywhere for a way to make the connection. If there is one, I could not find it.

@Justin7111, @ThomasGailHaws and @Alfred5476, Thank you for your suggestion. You are correct that there is no way for the administrator to link user accounts to their profile in the family group tree. When there is some difficulty for the system to match your account information to the tree profile and you are sure that your profile has been created in the tree, you can close the "I can't find you in the tree message" and click on the Starting Person link in the Group and Tree Settings box:
This will take you to a list of all the living profiles in the tree, of the same gender, for you to choose from.
