Translation Request: 1688 Schwäbisch-Hall Death Record
Request translation of a Schwäbisch-Hall death record for Michael Horlacher born 1613 and died 1688. Father was Hans Horlacher; mother Apollonia. Looks like he may have married Barbara in 1632 and Anna Catherina about 1672. Church book identifies location as "Hall, Schwäbisch, Schwäbisch Hall u Unterlimpurg." Do you know what Unterlimpurg refers to? Meyers Gazetter does not recognize it as a placename. Many thanks…

Translation:
Michael Horlacher: resident here, now deceased, was born in wedlock to Hans Horlacher and his wife Apolonia in the year 1613 in __?Münkheim, thus 75 years ago. He was brought up as a Christian after being baptised, and then sent to work in the fields. He married for the first time in 1632 to Barbara H. In 40 years of marriage he fathered 11 children, of whom two sons and three daughters are married, and had 37 grandchildren. After the death of his first wife, he married Anna Catharina Gross from Ültzhof in 1672 and in 16 years of marriage had six daughters with her, five of whom are still alive. Regarding his Christianity, he assiduously attended church services during the time he stayed in and around Limpurg, and went to the holy confessional penitently. He gratefully received Holy Communion for the last time in his illness, a few hours before his blessed end. He had been ill for 8 days with a cough and headaches and finally gave up his spirit.
Buried on 16 November [1688]My comments:
Münkheim is found in two parts in Meyers: Ober- and Untermünkheim. Limpurg was a castle just south of Hall, Ober- und Unterlimpurg were settlements near this castle. When you look at the map in Meyers for Schwäbisch Hall you see "Ob.Limpurg" southeast of the city of Hall. Unterlimpurg was situated between Hall and the castle, just outside of the city walls.
