Kaschan, Austria appears on my great grandparents wedding docs in Manhattan, NY 1891. Could the spelling be wrong? Perhaps Kauzchen which I found to be a restaurant in Vienna?

Many countries were considered under the rule of the Austrian Hungarian Empire. My great-grandparents were from Moravia in Czechia but put down Austria, Bohemia, German as their place of origin. In the old Kurrent handwriting a u and a n were often confused.
