Image unavailable. In person help
Hello,
Is anyone visiting the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City in late 2024 or soon?
I have been searching for my italian great grandfather's birth or baptism records in FamilySearch and reached many dead ends. I recently found his wife (my great grandmother's) baptism record, but the image is not available for viewing. I have been advised by FamilySearch to seek help in this resource group in hopes of finding help.
If someone is planning on visiting the library in person, can I kindly ask to search for this record and see if it displays the image? Hopefully, the record custodian has authorized viewing the record while in the library in Salt Lake City.
I have all the pertinent information on how to locate the record.
Thank you so much in advance.

Good afternoon @Erick Campos C.C. 5288
It would be helpful if you provide the URL of the record. One of the experienced researchers in this group may be able to show you another site where you can find the record. Or, alternatively, find it available from our account/location.
Best of luck with your research.

This film (1388730, DGS 4256103), in addition to Vallarsa records, also contains baptisms for Camposilvano from 1923:
So the contents of the entire film are currently embargoed and cannot be viewed online at any FS location, not even the main library in SLC until the privacy restrictions are lifted. However, it's possible that the physical film is available to view there.

Thank you @Cousin Vinnie for the valuable information.
Neither the parish in Trento nor the Diocese in Brescia are responding my non PEC emails either...it's been very difficult and frustrating my search.
If I understand correctly, I or (someone for me) can view in SLC the microfiche and take a picture of the record?
Thanks again!

If the film is available, the library in SLC has machines that will let you capture a film image to computer.

Thank you again.
Please, if someone (or know of someone) is going to be visiting the library at SLC, can you attempt to access the image in the record for me?
I would very much appreciate it !

I generally recommend checking Cyndi's List for researchers in Salt Lake.
Best of luck.
