why do tagged names appear twice

Thanks for sharing.
I've opened several of my own memories, as well as other PID memories, but I can't seem to replicate this problem. If this is still an issue, can you please provide more details. . . perhaps a PID example. . .
Thank you.

When you are looking at a memory, click on the down arrow to the right of the tagged person, and the you see the second (duplicated) name - the opened name has the PID and also the gear which opens a pop-up when clicked. I see this on every memory, so I assume you should also see the double name situation. Just wondering about the purpose of this recent change.

@JulieVWilcox I'm guessing you are participating in the experimental Family Group Trees. I certainly don't see duplicate names on most of my memory tags, but I do see duplicates for those living persons who are in both my Family Group Tree and in my private tree.
Near the top of the Details panel on the right side of the Memory viewer, there is a dropdown that lets you choose "View all tags", "View by person", and "View by tree". Only when I choose "View by person" do I see a down arrow to the right of the tagged persons; I assume that's the option you have selected.
If my assumptions are correct, then this is all working exactly as it should. When you participate in Family Group Trees, you will often have two or more copies of a living person — one in your Private Tree, and one in your FGT (and you might have that person in more than one FGT). Each of those copies has a distinct PID, and so both are shown in the tag list. You might gain some insights into how these tags are organized by changing the dropdown I mentioned above.
