What is the "Registry for The Treason Archive for Østerdal police chamber" in digitalarkivet.no
I have had several hits when I do a search on DA for the "Registry for The Treason Archive for Østerdal police chamber". I'd like to find out more about what this record is. People and their birth dates are listed, but I don't see any scanned image to get more information. Has anyone used these indexed lists? Thanks!

Looks like the Digitalarkivet has all sorts of records I have never explored before. Here is what you get if you to to the search for sources section and in the free text box put Treason:
Not all of these are scanned and many are not indexed. I did find a set for Østerdal that were scanned that starts on this page:
To view them, you do have to set up a free account with the archives. There are limits to how many you can view per week. It looks like some of them are not cleared yet as not having any privacy concerns.
Basically it appears these Treason Archives are police reports summarizing the charges brought against Norwegians who worked with the Germans during World War II. The first set of documents in the link above state, among other charges, that the man helped the Germans search for men who had escaped from the Germans.
