Help with Schaffer Marriage Record
I would greatly appreciate help with a transcription of the German words and a translation into English of this 1662 marriage record from Abstatt, Württemberg. The ink is faded and I am having difficulty with most everything except the names! I realize this is a difficult mission!
Thank you so much!

Hello Cynthia,
it's really more guessing than reading, but your suggestion leads me to fill in these words:
Gott gebe ihnen seinen versprochenen Ehesegen. = May The Lord grant them his promised marriage blessing.
Note that the same word appears on the opposite page, last line of the first record for 1661.

Thank you, Ulrich Neitzel! Herr Schaffer and the Karg family were from the next village west of Abstatt. That is interesting to know. I am so thankful for your expert help!

Ulrich Neitzel,
Might the last sentence be "Gott gebe ihier seing ? frachen Ehesegen" or something similar?

I hope your "guessing" is correct. It is a beautiful blessing for the couple.
What would I do without your help, Ulrich Neitzel?! 😊
