experiment blocking normal tree functions?

now that I'm in this experiment. is there a way to get back to the normal tree so i can continue with my usual work?

1 - i think I'm only missing the normal tree options, but can get into PIDs ok and search for records.

2 - is there a way that the hover can open their brief info nearby as before? having to click their name and then move the mouse over to the right side of the screen is going to slow things down… lame
