Landscape view of family tree

Recently when I access "Tree" under Family Tree only my fathers side shows up. Both sides show on the Fan chart so why not on the Landscape mode. This is really annoying and if it has anything to do with the recent change I am totally unsatisfied!! Am I missing something new in order to get both sides on the landscape mode??

Which browser are you using? I use Chrome and I can see both sides when I use Landscape. Have you tried clearing the cache/cookies or using a different browser to see if Landscape loads properly?

Note that the Landscape and Fan Chart views treat the starting person differently. Both honor the setting for Family Tree Starting Person (found in Settings > Account), which might be a factor in what you are seeing, if you have changed the starting person to be someone other than yourself. You might want to check that setting to see if it is set exactly how you want it.

The Landscape view shows the starting person with their preferred spouse. The upper half shows the starting person's ancestors, and the bottom half shows the preferred spouse's ancestors.

In contrast, the Fan Chart shows only the starting person's ancestors. The preferred spouse is shown in the bottom part of the fan chart, along with their children, but the spouse's ancestors are not shown.

That difference can be confusing, especially if the starting person has no spouse, and so the entire bottom half of the Landscape view is empty.
