Translation Request for Curcio, Maria Cristina 1873 - and help with her father's name
I'm new to researching Italian archives and have found the birth record of my paternal great-grandmother MARIA CRISTINA CURCIO at this link: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua35982150/wQ9QmWq and I would appreciate if someone could translate it for me in its entirety. From what I can read, it looks like her father's name is shown as Gabriele.
However, in her marriage record, it looks her father's name is recorded as Gaetano: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua35943513/wQ9YZkz
Thanks very much for your help.

Hi! You have the wrong birth record.
The birth record that corresponds to the marriage record you posted (which I assume is the correct marriage) is #41, located here: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua35982150/0nkvlp4
In summary, this record indicates that on 28 Jan 1873, Gaetano Curcio, age 25, son of Pietro, [and two witnesses] presented a female baby that he declared was his child with, Marianna Fuscaldo, age 23, unmarried daughter of Luigi, on 26 Jan 1873.
@Cousin Vinny Do you concur?

I believe I have found Cristina's mother's (Marianna/Maria Fuscaldo) birth record on 24AUG1850. It's hard to read but I know Marianna's father's name is Luigi based on Cristina's birth record. Can you look at this birth record for Maria Fuscaldo and translate it for me? It's the record on the left page:https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua35944693/57oOZGj

That birth record states that on 24 Aug 1850, Mariangela Brogno, midwife, presented a female baby and stated that the baby was born on the 22nd day of the above month from Luigi Fuscaldo and Gaetana Aiello his legitimate wife, age 17 years. The baby was given the name Maria.
Unsolicited advice: I would search for their marriage within the last two years, 1848 and 1849. I would then search every year's index thereafter and find all of their children - their names will be predictable. The reason is that if this baby died, the next female would also be named Maria(anna).
