This item has NOT yet been fixed. (at least for me under the Chrome broswer)

Sorry for any confusion in the Discussion “Viewing large search results.”
You are correct. This feature is not working. While code is being updated, this feature is unavailable (see the note in the referenced discussion). It will return, but at a later date. No timelines available yet.
We closed the other discussion since it will not be available for some time.

in my opinion - just because item may not be resolved soon - is no reason to close a topic of discussion,
My feeling is closing comments on a topic - should be a rare thing.
