Denmark Census (1845): Birthplace Location
Can anyone help me locate the birthplace recorded for Ane Kristine Pedersdatter? She is living in Hans Pedersen's household, age 79. It appears to say "Hrule"? I was unable to find that place on the parish list. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I think I may have found Ane's death record. Does this imply that her birthplace is Køge then, or is it saying that her husband was from or died there? Should I assume "Hrule" might be in Køge? Thanks.

In the 1845 census for Strøby, Præstø, her birth place is indexed as "Hasle". See here for that:
. I am not certain that is correct, but I cannot find any place called Hrule so it would be worth looking into. According to Krabsens Stednavn Base, there are two counties with a parish called Hasle; one is Bornholm and the other is Århus. They are both a fair distance from Strøby, Præstø!Kjøge (Køge) is probably the place where she was living when she died and not where she was born.

That clerk had a handwriting which is hard to read. I believe he also misheard the name of the parish, and wrote Hasle in sted of Haslev, which is a parish on the island of Sjælland.
In Denmark Baptisms 1618-1923 there are a few Ane/Anne born between 1760-1770 to a father named Peder in the Hasle parishes, but noone named Ane Kristine.
There are two Anne Kristine Pedersdatter christened in 1766 in the indexed records from Haslev:

Thank you Norm and Anne-Kathrine!
With my skill level of reading cursive, I definitely needed help! :) It's also great to have some clues on where Ane came from and possibly who her parents were.
Haslev is probably right for her birthplace then, though I'll keep in mind it could be farther away.
Thanks Norm for sharing the Danish Family Research site, as it looks like it'll be very useful for me, as well as searching for where Ane was from!
Thank you also, Anne-Kathrine, for including the christening records! I will research more and see which one may fit best. Excited to see if I can add to my family tree!
I so much appreciate all of this help!
